We’re building The Treatment Room at Mike’s Fitness JP, a dedicated space for massage therapy, sports massage, and other wellness services serving both our members and the wider community.

Responsibilities
In this Licensed Massage Therapist role, you will:
- Conduct thorough client assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans.
- Perform a range of massage modalities, including deep tissue, Swedish, sports massage, and trigger point therapy.
- Use knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide safe, effective treatments tailored to individual needs.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, stretching, and wellness recommendations when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment that follows health and hygiene standards.
- Accurately document each session while respecting client confidentiality.
- Stay current with continuing education, new techniques, and best practices in massage therapy.
Requirements
To be considered for this licensed massage therapist job in Jamaica Plain, candidates should have:
- A valid Massachusetts Massage Therapy License (or licensure in progress for January 2026 start).
- Experience with deep tissue and Swedish massage; additional modalities such as sports massage, cupping, and trigger point therapy are a plus.

- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build trust with clients.
