We’re Hiring! Front Desk Associates
Mike’s Fitness JP is a locally owned, community-centered gym in Jamaica Plain. We’re looking for a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic Front Desk Associate to join our team and help create a welcoming experience for our members and guests.
The front desk is often the first point of contact at Mike’s Fitness, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates well, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and check in members and guests
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
- Answer phone calls and respond to member inquiries
- Give tours to prospective members
- Sell gym memberships and enroll new members
- Help create a welcoming and positive atmosphere at the front desk
- Assist with other duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a gym or fitness environment
- A professional, positive, and friendly attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A dependable team player who works well with others
- Someone who enjoys interacting with members and helping people feel welcome
