Kate McNally

Personal Trainer

Kate is a NASM CPT with a BS in Physical Education and Movement Arts, a Senior Fitness Consultant, RRCA Run Coach, and GGS Pre and Post Natal Coach. She meets clients where they are and is passionate about helping people feel happy, healthy, and strong in their bodies. With over a decade of experience developing safe and effective programs, she helps clients confidently achieve their fitness goals. Kate believes there is no one size fits all approach to training and tailors a mix of functional and traditional strength training designed to improve mobility, prevent injury, and build strength. She specializes in training runners, mothers, and the older population. A marathon runner and a new mom herself, when she is not in the gym you will likely find her reading or listening to a podcast.

Tyler McGaffigan

Specialist in muscle building and total body transformations. I’ve been helping people reach their goals since getting certified in 2007 and loved doing so ever since! I have a bodybuilding and nutrition background but also study powerlifting, kettlebells and kinesiology extensively. Born JP native and recently returned after spending some time in the Lowell and Bedford MA areas. Love training at Mike’s, helping build and better our community through health and strength!

Teagan Langseth-DePaolis

Teagan’s training style prioritizes functional strength, taking into account each client’s individual goals. From hypertrophic training for muscle growth to power-based lifts for overall strength, Teagan aims to train her clients in a way that helps them reach their goals as soon as possible, while getting excited to be in the gym. Most of her programming includes compound lifts combined with bodybuilding-style training for optimal results.

Marcus specializes in building strength, improving movement quality, and designing training programs that help individuals reach their goals efficiently and safely. With a practical, results-driven approach and deep firsthand knowledge of elite athletic conditioning, he empowers clients to push past limits and redefine what they thought was possible.

Janhavi (they/them) is a movement enthusiast and training nerd. they love to help people build awareness of their body and impart skills and knowledge around strength & hybrid training and mobility for a wide array of goals. they specifically love to support people who are doing important systems change work to access somatic processing, focus and exploration in an accountable and science based container. they live in Roxbury and outside of fitness training, run a statewide abolitionist bail fund.

I work with clients of all age groups and fitness levels, meeting each person where they are and helping them reach their full potential.

After growing up playing primarily endurance sports, I joined the club powerlifting team at Northeastern University in 2019 and began my journey in strength sports. During five years and three national competitions, I learned that there was a lot more to getting strong than lifting heavy with the help of my Physical Therapist coaches. Having now earned my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist license and been accepted into Physical Therapy school myself, I prioritize strength and mobility in my programs in order to promote long term health in the people I coach. I am a firm believer in being able reduce and prevent aches and pains and build strength and mobility through weight training no matter what age you are, or how long you have wanted to get better.
