Meet the Team

Victoria Thanh Tran

Victoria Thanh Tran is an Assisted Stretch and Bodywork Specialist, competitive powerlifter, and Doctor of Physical Therapy student with a background in Exercise Science. As the 2024 USAPL Massachusetts State Champion in the 60kg weight class, she brings firsthand experience with the demands of training, recovery, and mobility. Her work is rooted in a science-based, intentional approach to movement, shaped by both her clinical education and personal experience supporting hard-working individuals and athletes alike. Each one-on-one session is tailored to your body and may include PNF-assisted stretching, soft tissue work, cupping, and guided breathing, with the goal of helping you move better, feel better, and build confidence in your body.

Maddie Lam

Maddie Lam, LMT, is a healing arts practitioner who integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and trauma-informed somatic bodywork to help clients restore safety and connection within their bodies. As a first-generation descendant of refugees and TCM practitioners, her work blends ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic touch. Maddie brings deep presence to each session, supporting trauma survivors and clients from all walks of life in healing, integration, and embodied resilience. A graduate of the New England School of Therapeutics, she has also worked as a Yoga Teacher in Residence at Esalen and remains deeply committed to social justice, creativity, and community care.

Kyle Myrick

Kyle Myrick, LMT, is a graduate of the Cortiva Institute and a member of the AMTA, with extensive training in Swedish massage, deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, and orthopedic massage. With a lifelong background in martial arts and dance, Kyle has a strong understanding of anatomy and movement and focuses on reducing pain, stiffness, and injury by balancing tension throughout the body. His work supports fluid movement, recovery, and long-term health, and his compassionate approach creates a calming, restorative experience that leaves clients feeling both relaxed and renewed.

Nayahra Resende

Nayahra Resende is a Boston-based Massage Therapist and founder of Stages of the Moon Bodywork, offering therapeutic and intuitive bodywork rooted in love, care, and collective liberation. Born in Brazil and raised locally, Nayahra brings a deeply informed perspective shaped by their experience as a queer, non-binary, working-class immigrant. Their background as a meditation teacher, restorative justice practitioner, and longtime Boston Public Schools educator informs a holistic, partnership-based approach to healing. Sessions may include deep tissue work, sports massage, assisted stretching, breathwork, and nervous system regulation, all tailored to support recovery, stress relief, and reconnection with the body.

Tandy “Tee” Nurse

Tandy “Tee” Nurse brings a science-driven approach to stretch therapy, informed by over five years of experience as a research scientist and nine years of mental health knowledge. Through Stretch Scientifique, Tee combines guided stretching and restorative techniques to help clients re-balance the body and mind, improve posture, increase mobility, reduce tension, and enhance focus and daily productivity. Their work supports athletes, professionals, and anyone seeking relief from stiffness or stress, with the goal of helping clients move better, feel better, and show up as their best selves.

Kai Pearl

Kai Pearl (he/they) is a massage therapist and somatic practitioner working in Jamaica Plain and Cambridge and is excited to join The Treatment Room @ Mike’s Fitness JP. Their approach to bodywork integrates physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness, shaped by a background in exercise, embodiment, and psychological healing, including training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and experience working with survivors of domestic violence. Kai’s practice is deeply informed by their lived experience as a queer, trans non-binary person who was transracially adopted, fostering an awareness of the systemic and personal stressors that influence how people inhabit their bodies. Through massage and somatic work, Kai supports a wide range of goals including sports massage, strength training support, corrective musculoskeletal alignment, nervous system regulation, pain management, and emotional or energetic release, tailoring each session with techniques such as stretching, breathwork, myofascial release, deep tissue work, and restorative practices to support empowerment, embodiment, and well-being.

The Treatment Room at Mike’s Fitness JP provides massage therapy in Jamaica Plain for both Mike’s Fitness members and the surrounding community. In other words, a gym membership is not required to book a session. If you live or work in JP and are looking for professional massage therapy in a welcoming, grounded environment, you’re invited in.

This setting supports training, restoration, and long-term physical well-being in one cohesive space.
