I began practicing yoga to alleviate the stress from working in corporate settings and the fact that for a number of years, I had been unhappy with the imbalance in my own life. As my practice became stronger, I realized that yoga was the path that I wanted to follow and that I wished to share my passion for yoga with others, as an instructor. I began training in earnest and continue to improve my knowledge and teaching techniques with regular attendance in classes and courses. I continue to benefit from the wonderful teachers we have in the Boston area. I have completed both a 200 hr. certification in Prana Vinyasa flow with Shiva Rea and a 500 hr. certification with Barbara Benagh in Hatha Yoga with an emphasis on Yoga anatomy. I enjoy refining and expanding my personal practice and teaching skills in retreats both here and abroad.

I currently teach in health clubs, corporations and privately. I teach a blend of Prana Flow and Hatha yoga. My classes reflect the levels and needs of my students. In class we practice asanas, breathing and brief meditations. I firmly believe that we can age well and with grace, if we embrace a thoughtful lifestyle and my teaching reflects that goal.

Hobbies—this year I became obsessed with the Great British Baking Show and am practicing new baking recipes a lot!!! When visiting family in warm climates you can find me stand up paddling. I love a good mystery book and always welcome suggestions.
