Emily is a 2011 graduate of Smith College and a 2014 graduate and certified personal trainer from the American Academy of Personal Training in Boston. In September of 2015, she earned her Training for Warriors Level 1 coaching certification. She is also a Precision Nutrition Level 1 coach, and advocates for flexible dieting to achieve sustainable strength and physique goals.
Emily has a wide background of fitness experience and is a proponent of living an active life, both in and outside of the gym. She is a powerlifter, rock climber, Spartan Trifecta medal holder, and has run over a dozen mud/obstacle course races. As a certified coach, Emily lives to help you unleash your inner badass.

As a graduate of a women’s college, Emily specializes in empowering women through strength training. “I’ve seen firsthand what can happen when women stand together and rise up as one. Women are a force to be reckoned with, and it’s time we start recognizing that strength. Too often in gyms, women feel afraid to even go into the weight room, and stick to running for hours on treadmills and ellipticals, afraid that they’ll get bulky if they lift weights. I got into this field because I was tired of being the only female in the weight room. I want to inspire women to take back the weight room and find their strength.”
